Hello.
Are you unable to install the origin program after you have downloaded it from the site? Try saving the download file to a place on your desktop , then try to install the program.
If you still have problems, try clean booting the computer then try installing origin.

it wont download from the site. it said that it was unable to download, thanks for the help though =)

Check to make sure that your anti virus or firewall programs are not stopping it from being downloaded.

I had these issues the previous times I have had to re install the Origin, but I can't remember how I managed to download it...

Shut down your computer completely. Then restart the computer, go to the origin site and try to download the program.
Check that you are trying to download the right version of origin, not the Mac version.

Apologies for not replying sooner, but it isn't working after I restarted my computer twice...

Are you continuing to be unable to download the origin program file from the site? Or are you now able to download the file but not install it? Could you perhaps try downloading the program file using a diferent computer or internet access then transfer the file onto your simming computer, and install the origin program that way.

Looks like your computer is running a operating system we no longer support, but you can still download and play your games using an older version of Origin. For Windows XP or Vista, click here to download. For Mac OSX 10.7 or 10.8, click here to download. Origin apparently does the disk space free check before checking for existing files, so that's why you need enough free space on the drive as the biggest game you are reinstalling.
